We are so proud to spotlight and congratulate Mrs. Samantha Nguyen, a 5th grade teacher at Desert Willow Elementary School. She earned Kingman Rotary Club's Teacher of the Month for September on September 18, 2024.
Mrs. Nguyen stated, "I graduated in 2000 with my Bachelors in Liberal Arts from Cal Poly Pomona and got my teaching degree from the University of California Riverside. I have taught grades 3, 5, 6, and 7 in California, then 5th in Nevada, and now 5th at DesertWillow. I recently celebrated my 23rd wedding anniversary and we have 3 amazing children. My oldest son will be graduating and commissioning from the US Naval Academy this coming May, our daughter is in her 2nd year at ASU, and our youngest son is a senior at Lee Williams. They have all excelled in athletics and we have spent most fall and winter days on a field of some sort. We have 3 dogs that are like our children, and as a family, we love to spend time in the outdoors."
